Bixby Volleyball Home District Night: 12-7 Spartans Host Broken Arrow

While football owns Friday nights, Spartan volleyball is giving Bixby plenty to cheer about midweek. The Lady Spartans enter this week at 12-7 overall with a four-match win streak, and Tuesday night brings a home district matchup against Broken Arrow at 6:30 PM on September 22, 2026.
Recent results show a team peaking at the right time. Bixby swept Bartlesville 3-0 on September 15 and stacked tournament and conference wins earlier in September, including strong results against Stillwater, Bishop Kelley, and Norman North. Home gym energy matters in district play, and Broken Arrow is a chance for the community to pack the stands behind a hot streak.
What to watch Tuesday
District nights are about composure and crowd noise as much as sideout volleyball. Look for early serving pressure, clean passing, and the kind of sideline energy that travels from the student section to the court. Booker T. Washington visits on September 29, so this stretch of home matches is a big chance to stack wins in front of local fans.
All-sports pride in Bixby
Supporting volleyball is supporting Bixby. The same town that fills Spartan Stadium on Fridays can fill a gym on Tuesdays. Bring signs, wear green and black, and make it loud for a program that has already shown it can win in different ways: sweeps, five-set battles, and tournament grinds.
