Bixby Spartan gear lifestyle for volleyball streak and home match energy

Bixby Volleyball Makes It Four in a Row, Hosts Broken Arrow Tuesday

By BixbyMerch.com · September 20, 2026

Bixby volleyball is rolling at the right time. The Spartans have strung together four straight wins, capped by a clean 3-0 sweep of Bartlesville on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. That result pushed the season mark to 12-7 and sent a clear message: this group is finding its rhythm heading into a busy district stretch.

According to MaxPreps team reports, Bixby entered the Bartlesville match with three consecutive wins and left with four. The Spartans have also won four of their last five games at home, a boost that matters when Frontier Conference nights stack up on the calendar.

How the streak built

  • Sep 11: Wins at the Stillwater tournament slate (@ Stillwater 2-1 among the results tracked on MaxPreps)
  • Sep 12: Wins over Union (2-1) and Norman North (2-0)
  • Sep 15: Home sweep of Bartlesville, 3-0

That stretch turned a midseason grind into positive momentum. District play is never easy in the Tulsa metro, but a 4W streak gives the gym energy that fans, classmates, and families can feel.

Next up: Broken Arrow at home

The next big date is already circled. Bixby hosts Broken Arrow on Tuesday, September 22, at 6:30 PM (home, varsity). MaxPreps and the Bixby Athletics schedule both list the matchup. A packed home gym for a conference neighbor is exactly the kind of night that makes fall sports special in Bixby.

Later on the slate: Booker T. Washington at home on September 29, then Muskogee, Jenks, and Owasso in early October. Plenty of chances for the Spartans to keep climbing.
