Bixby overwhelms Westmoore 80-0 as Madden throws 5 TDs

BIXBY | This one was over early, and it never got close.

Top-ranked Bixby rolled past Westmoore 80-0 on Friday night at Spartan Stadium in a Class 6A-I District 1 matchup, according to the Tulsa World. The Spartans improved to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in district play, per MaxPreps.

Quarterback Reece Madden completed 11-of-12 passes for 197 yards and five touchdowns, Barry Lewis of the Tulsa World reported. That line was the clearest public snapshot of how the Spartans piled up points against the Jaguars.

A shutout on the scoreboard

MaxPreps listed the final as Bixby 80, Westmoore 0 and showed Westmoore scoreless through all four quarters. A full quarter-by-quarter breakdown for Bixby and a complete public box score with receiving and rushing lines had not been posted as of Saturday morning, so those details are not included here.

Even without a play-by-play, the margin tells the story. Bixby has now scored 230 points and allowed 81 through five games, according to MaxPreps. The home win pushed the Spartans' home record to 3-0 and extended their winning streak to five.

Westmoore dropped to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in district play, per the Jaguars' MaxPreps schedule. The visitors' only district win so far came against Southmoore on Sept. 25.
